Who Cares Who Wins?

Who cares who wins?

We might as well get more,

for affluence is our biggest door,

through confidence with each cohort,

the unmitigated clutch in the things they swore,

that are heavy, great, and underused in society,

that always ropes each other down in competition,

in awards that are metal-forged in ammunition,

however helps our nation in one way,

heaving skills that determine the political climb,

or our gallery of arts, the standing of sports—

docking their talents to our cultural ports,

and stabilize the country’s joints,

unimpaired from a journalist’s voice,

or mobilize the country’s technology,

made possible by a medal’s testimony,

that leave sparks—many of them

into a winner’s heart,

with the greatest respect

of leaving behind man’s art.

The inducive stress of success has made people forget the point of showcasing their efforts and talents. I wrote this poem to grant a new perspective of what magnitude competition holds in effect with our society.
