dear God
it's me your son
for i have sinned
as i call upon your name
asking for your forgiveness
down on my knees
having this conversation with you God
crying for help
for you has promised to wash my sins away
i am merely human God
mistakes i make
risks i take
but at night i turn to you God
please hear my prayer
and forgive my sins
as i am your beloved son
