Echoes of Your Words

The words coming out of your mouth are like knives stabbing my heart continuously.

You took away my spark, and I still try to find the good in you.

Your cruel words linger in the dark shadows of my room, replaying like a broken record in my mind, reminding me of what I am.

I try to fight this endless battle of sorrow, while the silence around me feels cold and hollow.

It feels like there are pounds of metals chained onto my shoulders, bottling up my feelings, like I can never lift the crushing weight off.

I know I am going to be better one day,

but I will always be reminded of the constant echoes of your words.
