Moths

I don't want to be lame

But you know the truth stings

I wanna seek the flame

And let it burn my wings

To them it's all the same

An other picture springs

Can't keep it into frame

I fly around in rings

Nobody is to blame

We're all just sweet nothings

I want to play the game

See what history brings

I let faith hold my aim

Kept on hitting ceilings

But it is worth the shame

To know which way light swings

There is more truth to claim

Beyond the flutterings

Just see what life became

For all our past beings

Your fears will emerge tame

Wait until the cloud clings

And closer to the flame

Conjure warmer musings
