childhood

I remember when I was just a kid,

flowers smelt better,

colors look brighter

and I didn't know how to start a fire

Id look at the sky and see endless illusions,

cluttering my eyes and mind

so much joy in the the past

time sure does move fast

the world is dull

colors fading

flowers wilting ,

I'm older now

my parents miss when I was just a child

there was no sadness or guile

just a happy smile
