Denial

Denial

a ****** battle

ride untamed horses without a saddle

A pit of despair where snakes rattle

Acceptance is poison gas

which I don’t care to inhale

No,

regret blows the wind in my sails

A small voice a silent prayer

and tiny lies drip from the walls of my lair

An unfathomable blight, infecting my mere

An unbelievable sight
