You Know

Don’t pretend to be clueless I know you can’t Avert your eyes My misery is intriguing You gawk as my Heart is ripped from my sleeve While I’m pulling My hair out you Laugh and count the strands Drifting to the tile As I’m shivering in the corner You remove my jacket To see if I’ll freeze When my tears finally wash The skin off my cheeks You tell me I look better with make-up on
