Fires of Youth

The fires of your youth are fading Waters of insecurity Waves of hurt Hurricanes of pain They are flooding your innocence Raging fires dwindling Save them my dear. Fend of these swells Fight my love There are no lighters in the fields of innocence You cannot rekindle what is dying Fight off your demons Dams can be built Protect your innocence my love, for it cannot be rekindled.
