Overload

Just when your brain seems relaxed and rested, the wanderings of past times rise to the top; Those painful moments which caused you to run, away from everything you could never stop. Like an enormous fire blazing in its hearth, your mind explodes with raucous sounds; Which capture all the gloom and doom, that rage within with monstrous clouds. While faith appears to be floating away, and innocence betrays the one true answer; You reach out and touch the immortal storm, attempting to control its ceaseless terror. But with every story of past remembrances, there shines a light which can try to erase; Whatever past suffering has taken its toll, and real life ventures find their honored place.
