They Know Them

They know what they want.

They know how they eat.

They know how their brains work.

They have known them since

they kept them as slaves.

They have known them since

They were kings and the others

Were their servants.

They know how to tame them,

How to dissuade them. Now,

They think rules govern,

But they know how to

Govern—how to make rules

To keep them in control.

They know they are gullible;

They know they are fools.

They know how to make

Them even more foolish.

They think they vote

To elect them, but they

Know how to make them

Vote in their favour.

They are prepared by them;

They are cultured by them;

They are reaped by them.
