As I open my eyes,
My body starts aching.
The fatigue is my prize
For this overdue awaking.
I've overused my body
I gave too much away
To help others be
When I couldn't find a way.
So I lay here still
Because everything hurts
And I have to pay the bill
Now that what's left of me is inert
