her Light

(even the stars pause,

watching her glow

unsure

if they were ever the light)

she walks on petals

look at the sparkle on her feet.

flowers follow her scent

marveling at her radiance.

what is a star’s glow

to a flower’s bloom?

her heart precedes both.
