for the bluest of sapphires~ note to self: it’s ok to be sad. a draft whispered and whistled~ past me and went from titled draftee to inductee-poem, accidentally though straight legged enough to stand alone in iron simplicity the compulsory muses demanded satisfaction, don’t let u off so easy… it’s not ok to be sad, when the sads comeback in the 4th quarter to tally-rally past their long expulsion barrier but certain words, a phrase, a nothing, is all it takes to send me tumbling down a rabbit hole dug deeper than hell itself, so very long ago if it’s the wrong word, expressed with contempt, or a sneering retort a sarcastic “ I suppose it’s all my fault” meaning it’s yours hurly burly spiking my heart unwarranted and the warranty on my befuddled head, congested heart, expired long ago long before
