Reflections of Yous

The you that lives above the surface,

in front of others

for validation

The you that lives at home,

emerging in late nights, or only

on the longest phone calls,

that nocturnal creature

which is more you?

That daywalker? Because once the sun sets,

remember, one day

your 'you's must be reconciled:

it will become a reckoning

if you can't find your own way.
