Unfinished revised story of us

It's been a while since my last sight of you You were doing good before I flew Not literally, internally rather I thought things will finally get better Yes, I did became better Healthier, stronger I felt there's nothing I can't conquer Just then I started to wonder How have you been? Have you become the same thing? Did you went for your dream? Or did you just stay the same? Weeks pass by since that thought of you came to my mind A beep from my phone froze my smile I'm not sure what it says But it's your name that displayed A story that we already ended Is once again renewed Another chapter of another book Same characters but changed outlook Not so sure if this will bring up the past Or things will come fast This chapter started just as before If the ending is the same, I don't want to go on I love you, you love me Is love enough, for you and for me? Or is it too much to once again damage our feelings? I'm not sure if it's right, but I already set you free Without the expectation of you coming back
