"Memories"

As I sit here all alone... My heart slowly turns to stone... Your words resonate through my brain... ...They fill my heart with so much pain... You made my life a living hell... Now all that's left is an empty shell... I sit here trying not to cry... Thankfully not a single tear comes to my eye... I always thought our love true... But in the end I meant less than nothing to you... You pushed me aside... And told me to hide... You looked me in the eye... But every single word was a lie... You made my day... And then took all the joy away... You saw my passion as a burning fire... And extinguished the flame before it could get higher... Now the vision of you fills me with so much misery... And yet you seem so much better off without me.
