You are allowed

You've walked through fire

and always carried on.

Your passion rises like a phoenix,

flames trailing like ribbons in the wind.

You've endured the hardest things —

and still, you stand.

You are allowed to feel nervous.

You are allowed to be scared.

The way you handle every emotion

shows your deepest strength.

Even juggling all those plates,

you rise and meet what comes.

You are loved beyond measure —

not for how others see you,

but for the wonderful man you are.

Loved on the hardest days,

the longest nights,

ordinary moments when you feel you fail

yet you still stand strong

for those who mean everything to you.

You are loved

exactly as you are, Ray,

right now.

And tomorrow,

whatever it brings,

you will still be

that strong, wonderful man.
