Capturing Light

by soulofink

It pains me, darling to see you go once a whole picture now a lonely glimpse. There's a different story in your eyes. I saw it yesterday; but now, not even a sight. I don't know where to start. My chance is running out like sand in a hourglass, like capturing light by hand. Forever was a different thing from a flash and a fling It makes me cry a tear why is it you cannot hear? I'm trapped in this world of mine, banging, and crying, and trying. As the current of the river break the rocks, as my heart cannot find the key to the door you've locked.
