When You Reach The Crossroads

When you reach the crossroads

do not turn left.

You'll see what I have done,

You will see how the lord has wept.

For those who wish a noble truth,

Their world won't cease its uproot.

Yet those who sing the promised end,

Will find their path does not bend.

Still, those who wish the noble truth,

Cannot be persuaded by the bone of tooth.

They will seek what they should not find

and the pain will scar their eyes.

When you reach the crossroads

do not turn left.

Or you will be a clawed eye victim,

For I have disgraced the ignoble system.

You will come to find the truth in lies

and in time, you'll turn to hate the wise.

Yes, only those empty in demise,

Have failed to cut a tie.

When you reach the crossroads,

Turn left.

You will see the human truth

they forget.
