The pressure

The pressure is increasing and we lose our spark Can hear that life lives on a deadline Must do this and must do the other Can not keep on doing with what is mine The emotions boil but the mind is silent Have an ego that twists in everything we say The thoughts are good but the words are few Are sitting still when we really want to go Lives in a pattern we can not stand But are the other so much better to have? The world has become one big prison Where all is with a sense of longing
