reliance

amidst the clash of fate,

through stardust, now scattered,

remnants; a will so strait,

turned coarse. forlorn. battered.

we drift in our own abyss.

mere corpses, rotten away.

deprived of your curing kiss,

left for carnage. for decay.

so, as I waste away,

engulfed by defiance,

for sins, I ought to pay,

for love, exalt reliance.
