sleep. rest. leave.
the silk twists around my body
but calmness doesn’t overtake me
thoughts race through my head
tears stream down my face
negative thoughts cloud my brain
MAKE IT STOP a voice screeches from within
but voices pick up volume below
I stumble out of bed searching for something, anything to dim the noise
BE QUIET BE QUIET Be quiet be…still.
