War's Beast

War's a raging beast

Always hunting down its prey

For fear has made it's feast

And it cackles as they run away

Its teeth are crafted deadly

Its power merely greed

As the innocent scream and cry

It lunges while they bleed

Its control grows alike no other

Venom spreading past enemy lines

Leaving the weak alone without cover

No remorse for the corpses it left behind

It claims "the small" can't rule the land

That the prey shall bow on hands & knees

To all cower to the bombs overhead

Protecting the beast which became a king
