I Really Like...

I really like the hazely brown eyes that peer at me from across the table I really like the laughter that rings, The joy that they bring I really like the freedom we have Dancing around the boundaries of what should never be said Daring to playfully utter the questions, what might be crossing a hidden line Breaking unwritten rules, what is still forbidden? I really like words that were said So meaningless, so pure But holding so much importance I really like us Our nothingness in friendship Our wholeness as two separates Two people with no need for the other
