Have You Ever Been So Lost?

There’s a road that winds through quiet

Past the fields where no one came

Cold wind — moving through the dust of time

Through the pale and empty daylight

Footsteps echo down the lane

I hear — you calling out my name

I want to know —

What it means to truly be.

I want to know —

Have you ever been so lost that you became free?

Walking on a road with no name.

Yesterday and roads before

Dust and silence at my door

By now — I know the road by heart

Miles behind and miles to go

Some are fast and some are slow

Somewhere — the road became my home

I want to know —

What it means to truly be.

I want to know —

Have you ever been so lost that you became free?

Walking on a road with no name.
