the fireplace

hearts don't break even they have jagged edges blood lost, love lost so much is lost when trust leaves the room and resentment takes its place right by the fireplace while you are pulling your hair out because it happened again you lost yourself while simultaneously losing your lover and you would rather sit in the fireplace than wake up tomorrow and realize it didn't have to end this way but it did end this way because you didn't throw your ego in the fireplace
