The last stretch

by @nyant

i don't always cope well with life and it's slope, countless times i slipped and fell, climbing through the mountains in my mind, breaking through the chains that bind, but you were constantly kind. when i reach the end of my race, may there be traces of grace, may you find me with faith, may you find me with hope, may you draw near, make your love ever more clear, so i may walk the rest of my days free from fear.
