Fairweather Family

When I saw through your eyes

At your true desired prize

The deception we shared

Between you and I

feeling all to feel

clear and insight

Counting my blessings

Each day and each night

Oh, what a world

it truly could be

If I really saw, you

and you really saw me

Broke down your walls

So, you won't feel alone

When I helped build you up

left all left on my own

You tasted happiness

Stole from my bones

Used all my body

built a new home

You had nothing left

I spared all my breath

You reached in my chest

ripped out all the rest

I still cannot conceive

It was all made believe

You were a piece

of my family...

Oh, what world

it truly could be

If I really saw you

and you really saw me

Broke down your walls

So, you won't feel alone

When I helped build you up

left all left on my own

You tasted happiness

Stole from my bones

Used all my body

built a new home

If I had to know you would leave me all alone

You never would have called this house, your home.
