Unforgotten Unforgiven Unhidden

Slow down choose with care my Aletheia if you dare

In a river lethe unclothe us melt us wear inside a tare

Unforgotten unforgiven unhidden in a way you own,

You emerge as the coverings round you-slip & groan,

Revealed in the early one bright and thrumming day,

Show me the flows in you drip me softly along a way

Stop trying, something underneath barely volunteers

A quiet recognition of the soul-whispers as she nears,

Bring it closer ... almost getting it-- I see it in the folds,

The rare trembling moments nothing concealed holds

I'd like to say just once eternal echoes in a down slow,

You're the wind in me that slips away unveils a show.

I felt the sun moon me in contrition, and tried my best not to Aletheia the past, but, sometimes, in the weary of a dreary, those moments slip by me and almost say--as each piece of you slides off--and shadows glide across the page ... "I see you standing there, walking by, slowing down time, remember in me the way things used to be in a twisting, twirling, whirling way unfound."
