all the distance

in this cocoon of silence

the wind is clear

thoughts lose their gravity

only this certainty

that Babel was real

runs towards me

words swallow their meaning

they inhabit their screaming

like a ship sliding a dream

over a deserted ocean

I cry. I wait. I breathe.

I dance everyday

unknown birds transit  the dust

in  my eye

I feel all the distance

between the root

and the sky
