I know I shouldn’t

I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help but yearn.

Yearn for her touch,

And for her hold.

I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help but long.

Long for her presence

And for the chance to call her mine.

I know I shouldn’t, but I can’t help but miss her, crave her, want her.

I know I shouldn’t.
