There's a conversation worth having On a numb night. Could I get you to settle down? Do this for me now. You held a friction in your breathing As you yielded onto me. Could you get me to sober up? "Do this for yourself." I'm not done for the night! Not yet. Go inside. You'll catch something. Nineteen, I love you so. Twenty-one, I can't let go. I was a straight shot off I-35. But fate could never hold the time. There's a conversation worth having On a bad bet. Could I get you to give a fuck? I need to say this now. Here's some fiction I've been writing: I'm as done as your patience allows.
