makes me feel
safe enough
to express what i feel
without the
wandering eyes
of people i know
in my everyday life.
joining hello poetry
has shown me
that it's okay
to feel what i do
and that im not alone.
i do not regret
becoming a part of this.
it makes me happier
knowing there's people who
go through the same thing
or similar.
because it feels like im alone.
but i now know im not.
no one is.
im so grateful for the friends
ive made through here,
the people ive had the honour
of talking to through here.
