Famous Words

by Kalliopie

Mama I can fix him He's sweet when no ones there He just likes the house in order But I promise you he cares Mama I can fix him He's under alot of stress You know I'm not easy to be with He takes care of me the best Mama I can fix him If I just learned how to be quiet I always choose the wrong words I'll get though, it'll be alright Mama I can fix him He didn't do it, really– I swear! I always was a clumsy child You know how often into space I stare Mama I can fix him We've got a baby on the way He could be a gentle father We'll be a family, it'll be okay Mama I can't fix me I'm sorry I got so lost I tried to heal him for ages I didn't know I would be the cost

Notes

The words we dread hearing as mother's, are often those we've already said to our own.
