Font of Sorrow

A font of sorrow has opened within my chest

If only I could sing as sweetly as the little bird with the flaming breast

He sings to herald the rising of the miracle we call dawn

She sings to bid goodnight to the beauty we came to know as twilight

He sings upon the boughs of love to the lover he only knows by song

This deepest tone of longing has left the nights oh so restless

And the days weighed down with fear, thus feeling so long...

Let my heart know no borders, let my love know no bounds

That I may gaze upon the stars with the wonderment of a child

Hearkening to the bluebells' enchanting chime

Nobody knows but You, Thou art my soul Love True

In the depth of my wounded heart, there is Only You...

Desires fulfilled propagate desires to come

But 'i' just can't relinquish my heart's desire to dissolve in Thee

Leave me not at the threshold of liberation

Open the psychic cage and set truth free from the illusion of 'me'
