Dear Departed

Once I met an endless  end, a pointless point and a bendless bend. So was she lying in her bed. Half asleep, half awake. The winds were roaring in the windows, life was so no more casting a shadow. I sat by her side, as she was only my guide.... She held my hands, I looked into her eyes. So she asked for a pledge that night. "You will always remain in my sight." Perhaps I may, perhaps I might. How can I ever forget that sight. So was I keeping my words, So was I holding her hands. But her SOUL flew away, and my DEAR DEPARTED today....
