We believe

Poets

Such a haunted bunch

Feeling it all so much

Loss and love

The sad realization

That nothing fits like a glove

There are no signs from above

It’s all relative to what we want to see

And how warm we want our hands to be

Far removed from reality

Maybe

But when we put it in our poetry

We can believe

We believe

We can make others see

Our souls so vividly
