Dream

If I drift into slumber maybe I'll dream. I'll dream to escape. Reality is distant, My dream is my command. Perceiving in ways unexplained, Ordinary is strange, Strange has become ordinary. The unattainable is obtained. I can leap new bounds with ease! Time is not valued, For it is not limited. Nothing can touch me, I am immortal. I'll journey to a place so mysterious Even I, the imaginer could not fathom. And maybe if I dream hard enough.... I'll never wake.
