For Him

In shadows of veiled affection's flight,

Where words retreat, afraid of their might,

I seek solace, a silent ember's glow,

To speak my heart's truth, too afraid to show.

A tapestry of verses, woven with care,

To whisper my love, a delicate affair,

Yet fear's specter lingers, its presence near,

As caution treads lightly, cloaked in veer.

Like stars that twinkle in midnight's shroud,

Love's clandestine dance, we silently vowed,

Forbidden realms, where longing takes flight,

In hidden depths, our passions ignite.

His name, a symphony within my chest,

In every heartbeat, a fervent request,

But walls enclose this unspoken refrain,

Bearing the weight of love, yet to explain.

His eyes, the portals to a tender soul,

A labyrinth of secrets I long to know,

Yet bound by fear, the words I suppress,

A fragile dance upon love's precipice.

So I pen these lines, woven with grace,

Hoping my adoration,he'll somehow trace,

Through the layers of my introspection,

To glimpse the ardor behind this affection.

Though words may falter in their quiet plea,

I hope he'll sense the love, eternally,

For in this tapestry, love's whispers reside,

A tapestry woven, where secrets confide.

And if one day, courage finds its decree,

I'll cast aside fear and set my heart free,

Until then, this poem carries my desire,

To the man I really want, whom my heart doth aspire.
