Here stands a boy and a girl
They live their own life, in their own worlds
But this is not a story about their lives
For this is the time to say goodbye
As the boy looks down at her, he smiles
He says not to worry "I'll only be gone for a little while"
She looks down and begins to cry
She sobs into the boys shoulder and asks him why
"Why can't you be real and stay here with me,
Be here when I wake up, it could always be 'we'"
He says he's sorry but it's time for him to go
He starts to back away as the girl cries no..
He disappears into the light blue sky
As the girl wakes up and opens her eyes
"Someday" she says
"Someday it will forever be just you and I"
