Matthew's Faith Moved Mountains, So Why Can't Mine?

In a world of never-ending troubles,
where problems loom like mighty mountains,
I often stand with a heavy heart,
as my faith is tested and uncertain.
What mountains have I failed to move
by clutching at anger instead of faith?
What possibilities have remained
unmoved by my sinful, overwhelming wrath?
In life's chaotic busyness
of bills unpaid and dreams deferred,
I search the sky for answers
and wonder if my prayers were heard?
This faith as small as a seed
sits hopeful in tired hands.
A testament not to mountains unmoved,
but to my courage to try,
to rise and stand.
