Sunlight on your shoulders

by nathan-striegel

We are all human We were never made to stay inside Open your eyes and see the beauty That has never left your sight It’s time for us to return back to who we were Back to where we belong We were made to explore the world To see new sights and climb new heights We can dive deeper We can fly higher And even further into the sky An entire universe just waiting to be found But it starts right here It starts right now Just take that first step And walk outside Into the open wide And feel the sunlight on your shoulders Feel the breeze in your hair Sing with birds And climb a tree The world is bigger than you can ever see Before you go Into that big blue world we call home I want you to remember one little thing No matter how high you fly No matter how deep you dive Every little adventure starts here It starts just like this With a gleam in your eye With the breeze in your hair And the sunlight on your shoulders
