Yielding

The embrace of forbidden wishes,

trust given to the heat of the moment,

I kneel before what I cannot stop.

These crosses traced upon my body,

whispering scriptures into the skin,

temple halls echo breathless sighs,

a sliver of light upon the altar,

our souls—sacred, in sacrifice.

Devoted reach in offering,

my burning pulse bears fruit,

a delicate tilt—quietly yielding.

Helpless, unbidden,

I turn beneath your breath,

into the depths of unspoken prayers.

Enter my soul—

reach for the seabed of my mind.

A dance in the Sea of Flames.
