All along, you.

You rushed to my side Even though I never called you When I was slipping Picked me up When I had not told you That I had fallen Supported me When I had not bothered to mention My legs were weak and trembling I don't know what I would do, or be Without you For even the thought Rings false in my mind I feel as though I am nothing On my own I remember the first time I saw your face Heard your voice ringing out Clear as a bell You have been here For what seems Like ages My chest is warm And I am content Know that I have you At the beginning Or when all else is spent.
