Secret Keeper

If someone asks, she says she's fine

and she won't let them know

that way deep down, she's hurting,

but she can't let it show.

She's afraid of what people would say

if they knew how much she lied,

how she hid when she was angry,

or sat alone in the dark and cried.

She's suffering from mild depression

and probably has some OCD,

is at risk of ARFID and psychosis,

with severe social anxiety,

but despite it all, she's by herself;

she'll fight her battles alone

'cause she's scared to reach out for help

and make her pain be known.

wrote this about someone very close to me. i've known her for a long time and she's helped me a lot. rhyming is a little forced but not terrible.
