Innocence

A schism

A broken mirror

A another light anew.

My soul

Broken up

As I stare at you.

Your young eyes

Bright and brown

Reflect my own.

Your skin

Your voice

You're like my little clone.

Your voice as shiny as glitter

I shall protect you to no end.

And as you walk alongside me

I think that you'll disappear around the bend.

You are me.

I am you.

Please do not flee.

I only wish that you were true.

You're now too tainted to love anymore

Yet too innocent to ****

Yet I still do adore

You, my little daffodil.
