Horror Scene

My head throbs, My heart pounds, A bead of sweat drips down my forehead I remain still, holding my breath I listen tentatively, Listening Listening for footsteps, and your shallow breaths. The floor boards creek beneath your weight, As if they surrenders to you I begin shaking with fear You're now in the same room, Searching Searching for me A breeze blows in the window Drafting your sent to me Metal, oil, and wood chips. My hair whips ; surrendering my position. You come over and grab my hair Your eyes blaze in mine A cold endless void, Possessed by demons ; so full of hatred A gleam of steel, The stabs in my ribs, The pool of blood by my body, As my soul drifts away From this horror scene you made reality
