to monday

Last yesterday

I left myself for you.

Gave in like a black hole,

****** me up and

Left me dry.

Was it because I didn't answer?

Was it because it wasn't you leaving

That made me feel alone but rather

Me leaving myself.

She told me to keep my head up high

Like I had something to prove but

I will walk with my head low

If I want to.

They will pray on me because of it

Lions don't walk with shame,

Only geese

And dogs to their master.

I have none to follow.
