Love and forgiveness

We all can love, And we all can forgive. These two go hand in hand. One cannot be without the other. We love but cannot forgive. We love someone but once they do us wrong we cannot forgive them. So, did we truly love them? We forgive but do not love. We can forgive the harm that someone had done, But we no longer love them the same. So, did we truly forgive them? To truly love is to truly forgive. Love opens the door to the heart, And forgiveness shines the light on the darkness inside.
