cobblestone upon the grass

cobblestone upon the grass

leads to your abode at last

and when one minute more will pass

I'll have an answer yes or no

but either way I still might go

The hair is her beauty all glittering gold

and theres' more to me than what she's surely been told

I'll have an answer yes or no

but either way I still might go

She must still eat her words

morning dove and bluebird

will spread joyous or sad word

I'll have an answer yes or no

but either way I still might go

Notes

first stanza is based "The sound of silence' by Simon and garfunkel "In restless dreams I walked alone / Narrow streets of cobblestone"

The hummingbird and bluebird are flying overhead as I walk to her door
